Florence is easily reachable from the local train station, Cortona and Montepulciano are each 30 minutes away.

Accommodation is on the first floor, until recently downstairs was just for animals, though occasionally you will find us there.

We're a 8 minute drive from Castiglione Del Lago, with its fantastic views of Lake Trasimeno, and beaches from where you can take a dip.

Castiglione is chock full of great restaurants and cafes, along with a medieval castle to explore.

Along with Cortona and Montepulciano, there are countless beautiful hill towns, that make for easy visits.

An hour away, you have Assisi, Siena and Arezzo, each great Renaissance treasures.

There's free parking at the local station that has direct trains to both Florence and Rome.
